The OPP say two burglars have been caught in the act in Orillia.
On Saturday night, police say they received an urgent call from a resident on Isabella Drive who believed two men were trying to break-in.
Officers responded quickly and found two suspects in the garage, who were taken into custody.
Police say a small quantity of Fentanyl was also seized.
As a result, John Hillcock, age 37, of Orillia, has been charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance – Opioid
- Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
In addition, William Waller, age 36, of Orillia has been charged with:
- Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
Both accused parties were released on Form 10 Undertakings and are set to appear on April 06, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
