A disturbance in Midland has resulted in charges against a 20 year old man.
Police were called to a home on Frederick Street on Sunday night, where a number of people had been sprayed by a substance, similar to bear spray.
An upper floor apartment was searched by officers, and a man allegedly responsible for the incident was taken into custody.
Police say Dylan Beasley is now charged with the following offences:
Administer Noxious Thing with Intent to Annoy (four counts)
Assault with A Weapon (four counts)
Mischief – destroys or damages property
Contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused was released on an undertaking and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on March 18, 2021.
The victims were decontaminated at Georgian Bay General Hospital and released.
