Seven new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Grey Bruce Thursday (Jan21).
Public Health says two are in Grey Highlands, and there is one each in Arran Elderslie, Chatsworth, Kincardine, Saugeen Shores and West Grey.
With two recoveries Thursday, there are 34 active cases in the region and one active probable case. Probable cases are not lab confirmed, but are symptomatic and are high-risk contacts of an active case.
The Health Unit says there are 96 high risk contacts associated with the region’s active cases.
Two people from Grey Bruce are currently hospitalized.
No one has died locally.
There are no outbreaks.
