A 35 year old Orillia man is facing several charges.
Police say they were called to an unrelated incident on Fittons Road on Thursday afternoon, when officers saw a man wanted in regards to an ongoing harassment investigation.
Officers conducted a traffic stop, arrested the man and further investigation led to the seizure of a prohibited edged weapon.
As a result, Richard TODISH, age 35, from Orillia, has been charged with:
- Criminal harassment
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to prohibition order
- Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is set to appear on January 22, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice, Barrie.
