Eagles Hire Coach
The Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League are hiring Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni as their next head coach,
Sirianni had an extensive interview for the job that started Tuesday and reportedly spilled over to the next day.
Sirianni was Frank Reich’s right-hand man in Indianapolis and was the quarterbacks coach when Reich was the Chargers offensive coordinator.
IOC Denies Report
The International Olympic Committee denied a report from the TImes of London, which said that Japan’s government had come to an internal decision to cancel the 2021 Games and focus on another bid in 2032.
The Canadian Olympic committees released a statement saying they had not received any official communication about Japan’s reported decision.
