Nine more deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported in the latest update by the Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit.
They include seven Barrie residents, one from Oro-Medonte and another in Midland.
An additional 88 new cases of the virus were also reported today.
They include:
52 in Barrie
3 in Orillia
2 in Springwater
1 in Oro-Medonte,
1 in Severn Township
1 in Bracebridge
1 in Huntsville
