36 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Tuesday in Huron and Perth counties.
The vast majority, 23, we announced in North Perth, bringing the number of active cases in the two counties to 152.
Eight cases were confirmed in Huron County, including three in Huron East, two in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, and one each in South Huron, Morris-Turnberry, and Central Huron.
Twenty to twenty-nine year olds continue to be the demographic most infected with COVID-19, with 185 total cases in Huron-Perth.
That is followed by residents over eighty.
1,068 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Huron and Perth counties since the start of the pandemic.
27 people have died as a result of contracting the novel coronavirus.
