A speeding vehicle on Highway 26 in Clearview Township has led to several charges against the driver.
Police say a vehicle was clocked going more than twice the posted speed limit just after midnight yesterday and the driver was arrested for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, police say various types of cannabis were seized, along with a cell phone and a quantity of cash.
A 44 year old man from The Blue Mountains (Adam Loucks) is also charged with refusing to comply with a demand, possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling and street racing.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on March 16, 2021.
