A 65-year-old retired banker is $50,000 richer after winning the lottery.
Diane Webster of Barrie won playing Instant Bingo after buying her ticket at Alfie’s Variety on Cundles Road.
She says when she realized she won big it was one of those moments where you think, “Is this really happening to me?”
“It’s still hard to believe,” she says. “Everyone keeps telling me to treat myself to something special, so maybe I’ll purchase some new golf clubs in the future.”
The mother of four and grandmother of two says she was in the right place at the right time for her big win.
