Our region now has a whopping 516 cases of COVID-19 this week, the highest weekly number since the start of the pandemic.
To put that into perspective, there were 376 cases last week.
The number of new cases for today in Simcoe/Muskoka is 78, up from 52 yesterday.
There is a new case in Clearview and one in Collingwood. Wasaga Beach has two new cases.
Huntsville has two cases and there are two in Muskoka Lakes.
There are two new cases in Orillia and five in Oro-Medonte.
New Tecumseth has 16 new cases today.
