A Wiarton man has won $1 million.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Choong-Kyu Park of Wiarton matched all seven Encore numbers in exact order in the October 6th, 2020 Lotto Max draw to win $1 million.
The lucky winner was purchased at Petro Canada on Berford Street in Wiarton.
Park says in a statement, “I play Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 regularly.”
Park, a married father of two, checked his ticket using the OLG Lottery App, and says “I was excited! I checked it twice to confirm,” he said. “I called my wife right away. We got more excited with time!”
The 49-year-old has plans for the winnings, saying, “I’m going to purchase the convenience store I currently work at. ”
