Pro-Trump protesters have stormed the Capitol building in Washington DC which is now under a 6 pm curfew.
It happened while Congress was debating certification of US President-Elect Joe Biden’s election win.
Biden called the move “an assault on the rule of law.”
“This is not dissent, it’s disorder, it’s chaos – it borders on sedition and it must end now,” said Biden.
Biden says the scenes of chaos at the capital do not represent the true America, but a small number of extremists.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump finally spoke by posting a video to Twitter where he asked the people to go home in peace while still pushing the “fraudulent election” claims.
“There’s never been a time like this where such a thing happened,” said Trump, “where they could take it away from all of us – from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election – but we can’t play into the hands of these people.”
There are reports that at least one woman was shot in the chest, severely injuring her while at least one police officer has also been injured.
America is so much better than what we’re seeing today.

I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!
