Covid-19 cases in our region continue to rise.
The local health unit reports 87 cases today up from 70 reported yesterday.
Collingwood has five new cases and there are three in Wasaga Beach.
There are three cases in Orillia, one in Severn, two in Oro-Medonte and Barrie has 26 new cases.
The average daily growth in confirmed cases is 1.6% in our region.
The health unit says based on projections, if this level of growth continues there will be about 600 cases during the week of January 24th – 30th.
That would be around 85 cases a day.
There are already 398 cases this week.
