Even online events are not safe from COVID-19 cancellations.
The New Year’s levee and Remarkable Citizens awards, hosted by Huron-Bruce Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa Thompson, have been cancelled.
While no date has been set to host the events, Thompson says the area’s Remarkable Citizens will be recognized “when the time is right to do so.”
Thompson says her offices have received more than 30 nominations for the Remarkable Citizens awards.
Details for the levee will be shared by the end of January.
