You are being encouraged to ring a bell outside your home on Christmas Eve.
The movement started in a town called Harrogate, England and took off so quickly that a Facebook group was formed called Worldwide Christmas Eve Jingle 2020.
There are now almost half a million members.
The group recently caught the attention of Collingwood Councillor Yvonne Hamlin who is now encouraging everyone in this area to join the group and ring their bell.
You are asked to ring your bell at exactly 6 pm on the 24th for two minutes to spread Christmas spirit and to help Santa fly his sleigh.
