Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the latest numbers by Huron Perth Public Health.
The bulk of the new case (13) were confirmed in Perth County, while five were announced in Huron (three in Howick Township, and one each in Morris Turnberry and South Huron).
One case was re-assigned to another health unit.
An outbreak has been declared on the 2nd floor medicine unit of the Listowel Memorial Hospital.
Three patients and seven staff have been identified as part of the outbreak.
Outbreaks at Northside Christian School and St. Mary’s Catholic School have been declared over.
The COVID-19 deathtoll in Huron and Perth counties currently stands at 20.
