Premier Doug Ford has addressed the potential of a Province-wide lockdown.
Asked today if he was considering a Province-wide lockdown and extending the school break, Ford said: “everything’s on the table.”
The Premier says if the Province moves forward and decides to do a further lockdown there are lots of things to take into consideration.
“There’s the education, making sure we have daycare,” he said, “making sure the educators are ready. Making sure that we, as simple as having hotels for people that have Covid – that we can put them into hotels instead of at home. We have to make sure we have something for the businesses. We just can’t keep going on like this for these poor business owners.”
Ford says he won’t hesitate to do whatever it takes to slow down the trend in Covid-19 cases that are occurring.
