One person is dead, following a crash just north of Goderich.
First responders were called to Highway 21 near Saltford Street late Wednesday morning, after reports a pickup truck collided with a guard rail on the road’s bridge.
The driver was transported to hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
According to police, the deceased died as a result of a medical event, and not from injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver has been identified only as a 68 year old from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
Bluewater Veteran’s Highway (Highway 21) has since re-opened.
