The number of Covid-19 cases in our region so far this week has already broken the record.
There have already been 272 new cases reported by the health unit for the current week.
This the highest number of weekly cases reported since the start of the pandemic.
The previous record was 231 cases for the whole week last week.
The number of new cases today in Simcoe/Muskoka is 61 with 21 of them in Barrie.
Collingwood has one new case (man 45-64), there is a case in Penetanguishene, three in Midland, three in Springwater, one case in Tay and one in Tiny.
Gravenhurst has a new case today, a man 35 to 44. There is also a case in Muskoka Lakes, a woman 45 to 64.
There are three new cases in Orillia and two in Oro-Medonte.
