Alejandro Pozuelo of Toronto FC won the Landon Donovan MLS MVP Award.
The midfielder beat out Philadelphia goalkeeper Andre Blake, Seattle midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro, forward Jordan Morris, and Los Angeles FC forward Diego Rossi for the honour.
On the season, Pozuelo scored 9 goals in 23 games.

Orginally slated for January 1st, the latest proposals appears to be for a 56 game schedule beginning January 13th or 15th
However, Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley says the reported start could “slide a week or two,
Foley does say he’s confident the campaign will be played.
Allen Passes
Major League Baseball slugger Dick Allen passed away yesterday.
Allen was the 1964 National League Rookie of the Year with Philadelphia and the 1972 American League MVP with the Chicago White Sox.
With the White Sox in 1972, Allen led the American League in homers (37), RBIs (113), on-base average and slugging percentage.
A 7-time All-Star, Allen’s fight against racism during his time with the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1960s cost him on many levels.
A longtime candidate for the Baseball Hall of Fame, Allen fell one vote short of Cooperstown in a committee election.
