Sixteen new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Huron and Perth counties.
According to Huron Perth Public Health, three of the cases are in Huron Counties, with one each in the Municipality of Bluewater, North Huron, and Goderich.
One additional COVID-19 related death was also reported, bringing the region’s death toll from the virus to nineteen.
HPPH also reports an outbreak at Seaforth Manor in Huron East.
Only one school, Northside Christian School in North Perth, remains closed due to the novel coronavirus.
