A GoFundMe account has been set up to help a Stayner couple left with only the clothes on their backs following a fire at their home.
Amber Chevarie says her and her husband, along with their two dogs, are safe.
She says they weren’t home at the time of the fire on Saturday morning, at Sunnidale Corners.
She says it was an electrical fire in the basement that burned a hole right through the main floor, 2nd floor and roof of the house.
The couple is staying in a motel until they can find other living arrangements.
Amber Chevarie says her mother-in-law set up the GoFundMe page. So far, $1,820 has been raised.
The goal is five thousand dollars.
