Clearview Crushers gain acceptance to Ontario Series Lacrosse League for 2021.
Senior B lacrosse is coming to the Stayner Community Centre & Arena in 2021.
After a Board of Directors vote in early November, The Crushers were approved as the newest team.
Clearview will join Six Nations, Brooklin, Oakville, Ennismore & Owen Sound.
The Crushers are led by a local ownership group made up of former Stayner Minor Lacrosse grads and investors. The aim of the organization is to grow the game of lacrosse locally. The Crushers will be focusing their good will efforts towards the growth of Stayner Minor Lacrosse by offering clinics for the players while also offering help to
minor coaches with practice planning and guest appearances by players.
The team will be releasing colours and jerseys January 1st, 2021.
On the floor the team will be led by Head Coach Rodney Tapp, current staff member in the NCAA lacrosse community. Coach Tapp provided the following statement “Fans can expect a team that will be competitive from the get go, WE want to make Stayner a very intimidating place to come play!”
