Catapult Grey Bruce is piloting a mentorship program to provide local entrepreneurs with an experienced mentor to help them grow or pivot their company.
A release says, it’s being done in partnership with Grey County and the Grey County Business Enterprise Centre (BEC), Catapult
Catapult Grey Bruce Program Development Manager, Jennifer Christie says in a statement, “Entrepreneurs are being pulled in more directions than ever before. They are being forced to adapt quickly while leading their teams through the pandemic and navigating it in their own lives.”
She adds, “When we are spending so much time figuring out the day-to-day, it’s important to not lose sight of the big picture. Mentors can help provide that clarity and keep you accountable to making progress on your goals.”
The pilot builds upon the COVID-19 Recovery Program offered by the BEC earlier this fall that saw more than 16 entrepreneurs meet with a mentor or advisor.
Participants will receive up to ten hours of mentorship, which will also include formal networking and skill-building resources.
The program is available at no charge to entrepreneurs located in or operating primarily in Grey or Bruce Counties.
Entrepreneurs will be matched based on their mentorship preferences and the goals they hope to achieve.
Applications are available now and can be submitted through the Catapult Grey Bruce website at www.catapultgreybruce.com.
Organizers say there is no formal application deadline but entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply in December to get the most from the six-month pilot.
Those who are interested in becoming a mentor can contact Catapult Grey Bruce through email info@catapultgreybruce.com or by calling Jennifer Christie at 226-647-1442.
