A drive-through Santa Claus parade is set to go in Southampton tonight.
It starts at 7 tonight (Dec4) and will feature a stationary display of floats and performers on Victoria Street. You can enter at Clarendon and Carlisle Streets and exit at High St.
The parade is drive-through only with no pedestrian traffic allowed, and you’re expected to stay in your vehicle.
Organizers say to drive slowly, use caution and follow parade marshal directions
They say spectator vehicles are asked to enter the lineup at Carlisle St and Clarendon St for the best traffic flow.
Southampton Rotary will collect food and cash donations at the start of parade route.
Letters to Santa will be collected in a mailbox at the end of parade route.
The Saugeen Shores Santa Claus Committee says it has been working closely with Grey Bruce Public Health, Saugeen Shores Police and the Town of Saugeen Shores to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
