The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 10 recoveries and five new Covid cases in the region Friday.
According to Public Health, two people from Grey Highlands, and residents of Huron-Kinloss, Meaford and Blue Mountains tested positive.
Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra says three of the new infections are high-risk close contacts of previously confirmed cases already in self-isolation.
The active known case load in Grey Bruce fell to 31, as recoveries outpaced new positives on Friday. No one is currently hospitalized.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have not been any deaths attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce.
Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home in Lion’s Head remains in outbreak after a Covid case associated with a staff member.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any schools, daycares or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
