Two people face charges after allegedly breaking into a Southgate residence.
Grey Bruce OPP say they were called to a report of a break and enter in progress at a property on Southgate Side Road 21 just after 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Police say the property was being monitored by a close circuit video surveillance system and OPP officers were called while the suspects were still inside the residence.
Officers attended the residence and observed that the front door was damaged.
When they entered the residence, they located and arrested two parties inside for break and enter.
A 51-year-old Southgate man and 56-year-old Southgate woman have been charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Both of the accused have been released on an Undertaking and are due to make a court appearance in January.
