Two off-duty police officers are being credited with coming to the aid of a worker at a Midland store who was keeping an eye on suspected shoplifters.
On Tuesday of last week, the officers, one OPP and the other RCMP, followed the two suspects from the store on County Road 93, to behind a nearby fast food restaurant and made an arrest.
An OPP officer in uniform arrived to continue the arrest and return alleged stolen goods.
A 30 year old Midland man and a 40 year old man, also from Midland, are charged.
