Bruce Power is offering its help to the province’s COVID 19 task force.
The Retooling and Economic Recovery Council, created Bruce Power and its supply chain recently penned a letter to task force chair, retired General Rick Hillier, saying its members are prepared to provide services or support to the task force.
Bruce Power says the Retooling and Economic Recovery Council has expertise in a number of areas including project management, logistics, worker safety, advanced manufacturing and a depth of technical knowledge that could be leveraged to manage any range of issues or challenges.
Since launching in April to help fight COVID-19, the Council has focused on retooling the nuclear supply chain to meet the demand for PPE and things like ventilators.
Bruce Power says the council will also be providing later this week a catalogue of supply chain organizations to Hillier and the Task Force.
