Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP is looking for resident feedback about safety concerns and police services in their neighbourhood.
Today is the last day the police services board will be accepting comments through the Engage Collingwood platform.
The police services board is a five-member group charged with working with the local detachment commander to determine objectives and priorities for police services in town and to monitor the performance of the detachment commander.
The priorities already outlined in the 2020-2022 Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP strategic plan are as follows:
- Violent crime and assault
- Property crime and fraud
- Illicit drugs
- Traffic
- Mental health
