Whispering Hills Wrap Up
It took 189 days but the 18-hole course layout at Whispering Hills Golf Club between Hanover and Walkerton, finally got a hole-in-one on the final hole of the day, on possibly the final day of good weather this golf season.
John Comyn, 48, of Paisley scored the first hole-in-one of his lifetime on the 143-yard 18th hole named ” Relaxing Farewell ” on Saturday.
Comyn used his TaylorMade Burner 2.0 8-iron and Powerbilt TPS Distance golf ball to sink the hole-in-one.
For sinking the ace, Comyn will receive a custom-made etched crystal trophy with the date and details of his shot, along with a compartment on the trophy to display the well struck golf ball.

The Kincardine Bulldogs of the PJHL’s Pollock Division are thrilled to announce that Dar-Lyn Pools and Spas of Kincardine will be the new Major Sponsor of the team.
Lynda and Harold Maurer, owners of the five decades-old Dar-Lyn Pools and Spas, are lifelong supporters of the Bulldogs and minor sports in Kincardine.
The couple’s longstanding involvement in the Bulldogs dates back to the club’s inception when Harold worked with the executive committee to bring junior hockey back to Kincardine and area.
Harold served on the executive for the team’s inaugural season in 1994-95.
