An arrest has been made in connection with a homicide in Orillia.
Police say a 19 year old man from Severn Township has been in the death of Derek Simmerson.
The 34 year old man was found laying on Coldwater Road with serious injuries last Thursday night and later died in hospital.
As a result, Justice SNACHE, age 19, of Severn Township, has been charged with First Degree Murder, contrary to Section 235(1) of the Criminal Code. The accused has been held for a bail hearing and is set to appear on November 23, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Barrie.
