The OPP has released the name of a man who was found lying in the street in Orillia and later died in hospital.
Police say they were called just before 830 on Thursday night, when a man was found with serious injuries, laying on Coldwater Road, near Emily Street.
The 34 year old man was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as Derek Simmerson from Orillia.
