The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 15 recoveries and three new Covid cases in the region Friday.
According to Public Health, residents of Kincardine, Southgate and Grey Highlands tested positive.
Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra says none of the three new cases are close contacts of previously confirmed positives and are likely community spread.
As recoveries outpaced new infections on Friday, Grey Bruce’s active case load fell considerably to 41. One person is currently hospitalized.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have not been any deaths attributed to Covid in Grey Bruce.
Grey Bruce does not have any outbreaks at long-term care or retirement homes, schools or daycares.
