Casino Rama is making plans to reopen safely.
However, Rama First Nation Chief Ted Williams announced today that when it does, it will only be open by invitation, there will be no table games available, and no food or beverage service.
Williams said, “There are still a number steps Gateway must go through before we can determine a date for re-opening. When those details are established, including a confirmed opening date, a formal re-opening announcement will be issued by Gateway.”
He added, “It will take seven to 10 days to restore operations.”
The casino has been closed since March.
