Ambrosie Optimistic
Canadian Football League Commissioner Randy Ambrosie discussed the CFL’s return to play next year during a fan state-of-the-league address that kicked off ” Grey Cup Unite “, the league’s virtual version of what is normally Grey Cup Week.
Ambrosie said the CFL could be in a position to release a 2021 schedule soon.
The CFL cancelled its 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic after failing to secure financial assistance from Ottawa.

The Phoenix Suns of the NBA have acquired All Star point guard Chris Paul from the Oklahoma City Blazers
The Suns get Paul and forward Abdel Nader, while the Thunder get 4 players in return plus a protected 2022 first-round pick.
The Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA are reportedly acquiring guard Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill and a package of draft picks
New Orleans is receiving three future first-round picks from Milwaukee in the deal, along with two future pick swaps.
Holiday averaged 19.1 points last year and is acknowledged as a difference-maker on defence.

Indianapolis could be the site for the entire 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament
The NCAA decided the tournament should be held in a single geographic area and preliminary talks have taken place with the state of Indiana and the city of Indianapolis to potentially host the 68-team tournament.
Last year’s tournament was called off due to the coronavirus.

The 81st Annual 560 CFOS Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast is Sunday, December 6th at 1pm.

Due to COVID-19, we won’t be able to gather at the Roxy as we normally would.
Instead, we are looking for musicians from the community to send us recordings of their Christmas and holiday songs. We’ll include as many as we can on the broadcast as we raise funds for over 20 local charities!
