Huron County’s paramedics are helping in the battle against influenza.
The region’s Paramedic Services have assisted Huron Perth Public Health by offering flu shot clinics throughout the Fall.
As of Friday, local paramedics had administered more than 200 influenza vaccines, and expect the figure to be closer to 400 when clinics wrap up.
Huron Perth Public Heath (HPPH) encourages everyone over the age of 6 months old to get the influenza vaccine each fall to protect against the virus and stop the spread of influenza in local communities.
Flu shots can be requested at your physician’s office, pharmacies, and clinics held by Huron Perth Public Health.
