Summerfolk has opened a store in Owen Sound.
The popular annual folk music and craft festival now has what it calls the “Summerfolk General Store.”
located at the Georgian Bay Folk Society office at 776 2nd Avenue East, (one Block South of City Hall
across from Liberty Tax).
A release from the Folk Society says the store offers Summerfolk merchandise, collectibles, gifts, handcrafted items from festival artisans, and other wares.
The hope is to keep the Summerfolk spirit alive during this time of isolation.
Hours of operation will be 10:00am-2:00pm Monday-Saturday. (Closed Sundays.)
The folk Society says physical distancing and face coverings are required of all visitors.
Summerfolk was held online this past summer due to COVID-19 restrictions. The festival usually sees thousands gather in Owen Sound’s Kelso Beach Park to watch live music, shop for handmade gifts and try out the various offerings from food trucks.
