The MacLaren Art Centre is hosting its first-ever virtual Art Auction.
It will feature a curated selection of artworks and a wealth of “great finds” generously donated by local retailers.
Art Auction Committee Chair Ruth Anderson says, “It’s a new challenge to do our art auction virtually this year, but it’s exciting to see it all come together. And even with all the worries the pandemic brings, we find joy in celebrating local artists and the important work of the MacLaren.”
All of the items up for bid will be available to preview on the Art Auction Portal beginning Monday, Nov. 16. Buyers can bid virtually from anywhere, at any time, up until 7:30 pm on Friday, Nov. 27.
