For the third year, a Goderich Realty company is collecting food donations for the holiday season.
Officials at Coldwell Banker are collecting non-perishable food donations for the town’s St Vincent De Paul Food Bank and the Salvation Army Food Bank, beginning Monday.
Coldwell Banker’s Donny Rivers tells us food items in need include:
- Canned vegetables
- Razors & toiletries
- Jams & marmalades
- Peanut butter
- Cookies & cake mixes
- Canned fruit
- Instant potatoes
- Soup crackers
- Soups & stews
- Hamburger helper
Rivers tells Country 104.9 News the business will have a donation box placed outside their downtown Goderich offices (138 Courthouse Square), so donations can be made safely.
To give back to donors, Rivers say daily raffles will be drawn for those leaving their name and phone number attached to donations, for a $25 dollar gift card to a local business.
A grand prize draw for a tablet will be made the day after the food drive ends, December 1st.
