If you’re still working on raking up all the leaves in the yard, take note.
Owen Sound’s Leaf and Yard Waste Composting Facility on 28th Avenue East will have adjusted hours on weekdays until next Thursday, Nov. 19.
The facility will only be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., as crews will be working on cleanup, waste removal and wood grinding during the day.
Weekend operating hours on Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 13-14) will not be impacted.
The city advises regular operating hours will resume on Friday, Nov. 20, weather permitting.
As of that date, mulch will be available free of charge for residents of Owen Sound to pick up.
Residents must bring shovels and load their own vehicles.
