Alpajaro Signs With Hoyas
Francesca Alpajaro has signed with the Georgetown University Hoyas Women’s Lacrosse team.
Alpajaro, a Port Elgin resident is a defender who played for the Owen Sound Lady NorthStars, St Mary’s Mustangs and Team Ontario.
The Lady Hoyas based in Washington, DC were the Conference Tournament Champions in 2019.
NHL Teleconference Meetings

The current belief is that NHL teams will open the 2021 season in each of their home arenas rather than utilizing a hybrid bubble.
OJSL Denied
A proposal to conduct Ontario Junior Super League hockey games in Shelburne this season was denied.
In a meeting between the OJSL and Council, the majority of the Centre Dufferin Rec Complex Board Members in attendance voted NOT to proceed with having the hockey league use the Complex as their hub.
Mayor Wade Mills was quoted as saying the decision was the right one.
The OJSL reportedly was gracious about the disappointing news and related they would simply “move on”
Blues-Muskies Round 2
The 2nd set of exhibition games for the Collingwood Blues and Lindsay Muskies of the Ontario Junior Hockey League are set for tonight in Lindsay.
The games which feature a player limit and are confined to two 20 minute periods will be staged in Lindsay tonight and then come back to the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues & Muskies will play each other 3 more times after this weekend.
Blues officials also confirm that a similar sequence of games between Collingwood and Trenton have progressed and are virtually finalized
