Bruce County says the bridge in Invermay will close for the winter at the end of the week.
As of Friday November 13th, the Invermay Bridge on Concession Road 6, west of Mill Road in Arran Elderslie will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for the winter season.
This closure will be in effect until mid April 2021.
The County says the Invermay Bridge closes each winter due to load limits that will not support snow clearing equipment.
Signage and barricades will be in place, and alternate routes are available.
