While most Royal Canadian Legion branches in Grey Bruce didn’t hold their usual large public Remembrance Day ceremonies this year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, many held virtual ceremonies to honour our veterans.
2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II — a conflict in which more than 45,000 Canadians lost their lives.
Owen Sound’s Remembrance Day Service were held at 11 a.m. and were broadcast live on 560 CFOS and the City’s Facebook page.
