You can take a new online survey to help shape the OPP’s Orillia detachment’s new three-year action plan.
The survey asks you to identify your top three priorities in the community, rate the OPP’s Big 4 causal factors, which include impaired operation, speeding, seat belts and distracted driving and what you feel are the social and public health issues that cause crime in Orillia.
“Citizens are strongly encouraged to have their say regarding community satisfaction with our local police services, including areas like property crime, youth issues, calls for service, traffic safety and resource planning,” says Orillia Police Services Board Chair and Orillia Mayor, Steve Clarke.
It’s available to take until 12 pm Wednesday, Nov. 25th at orilliapsb.ca or at the city’s customer service desk.
Orillia OPP detachment Commander Inspector Veronica Eaton says the feedback will help shape the OPP’s community priorities.
Respondents are also invited to join the Orillia Police Service’s Board’s special December 3rd virtual public meeting at 3 pm to speak to their survey submission and/or ask questions about the Action Plan process.
Survey respondents will be emailed the meeting link by Wednesday, Dec. 2nd.
