The Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its online Q & A meeting that had been set for today.
The Chamber says Bill Walker has an unexpected cabinet meeting today.
The online Q & A has been rescheduled to November 18th at 10 a.m.
MP Alex Ruff says unfortunately, he will not be able to take part on the new date.
Those who have registered will receive a notification email about the change. The Chamber says you should not have to register again.
Meanwhile, anyone who hasn’t registered can still do so for the November 18th meeting.
Owen Sound Mayor Ian Boddy, Georgian Bluffs Mayor Dwight Burley and MPP Bill Walker will be available to answer questions from local businesses.
Chamber President Diane Austin says her organization has some questions about municipal, provincial and federal programs and the latest COVID-19 related benefits. Austin says there will also be questions about the 10th Street Bridge reconstruction project in Owen Sound and other matters affecting businesses.
Austin says participants can ask questions through the chat function in the Zoom meeting and can direct them to any or all speakers.
Registration is required and can be done on the Chamber of Commerce website http://oschamber.com/events/
