Public Health Grey Bruce is reporting five new cases of COVID-19 confirmed Sunday (Nov 8) in the region.
The Health Unit says four are in Grey Highlands and one is in Kincardine.
According to Public Health, the Grey Highlands cases are all close contacts of each other and members of the same household who are now isolating.
Public Health says its Grey Bruce COVID-19 team continues with case and contact management by reporting and responding to COVID-19 related calls. The Health Unit says contact tracing exceeds provincial targets with 100 per cent of all cases contacted within 24 hours.
The Health Unit says there are ten active cases in the region with 191 confirmed cases in Grey Bruce to date. No one has died locally from the virus and no one is currently hospitalized due to it.
There are no reported outbreaks in long-term care homes, retirement homes, schools or daycares in Grey Bruce.
