Raiders Fined
The Las Vegas Raiders will be fined $500,000 and be stripped a 6th-round draft pick for COVID-19 protocol violations.
Raiders Head coach Jon Gruden will also be fined $150,000,
The fines are the result of how the team handled Trent Brown’s positive coronavirus test last month.

NBA Accord
The National Basketball Players Association board of representatives voted to approve the pre-Christmas start to the upcoming season and a 72 game schedule.
The NBA and NBPA are planning to discuss the opening of free agency as quickly as possible after the November 18th Draft.
The opening of training camps is set for December 1st.
OFSAA Cancels Winter Events
The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations Executive Council has determined that the reopening process in Ontario will not allow them to conduct their Winter Season of Championships & Festivals.
As a result the Ontario High School Championships in 9 activities have been cancelled for 2021.
The 9 sports impacted are Snowboard, Alpine & Nordic Skiing, Curling, Hockey, Swimming, Wrestling plus Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball.
Blues-Muskies PreSeason Hockey
The Collingwood Blues and Lindsay Muskies of the Ontario Junior Hockey league have announced 6 exhibition dates for the two clubs to meet head to head.
The opening game in the set is tonight at 7 pm at the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood.
Both the Blues and Muskies will host each other 3 times this month with the Blues concluding the month with a Blue-White Intrasquad Game on November 29th.

Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame Inductees
The Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame has announced their latest inductees.
One athlete, 3 builders and 3 teams will be enshrined during the next induction ceremony which, due to COVID-19 concerns, has not established a date.
Alpine Skier David Christie along with Builders Patty Federer, Bill Redick & Fern St Onge will be inducted as individuals.
The 1968-69 Legion Bantam Hockey club, the 2006 Smokum Too Yacht Racing Team and the 2014-15 Atom Blackhawks will also be enshrined.

The 81st Annual 560 CFOS Sun Times Christmas Fund Broadcast is Sunday, December 6th at 1pm.
The event will be on the radio only.
Due to COVID-19, we won’t be able to gather at the Roxy as we normally would.
Instead, we are looking for musicians from the community to send us recordings of their Christmas and holiday songs. We’ll include as many as we can on the broadcast as we raise funds for over 20 local charities!
The charities supported by the Christmas Fund Broadcast have all been impacted by COVID-19, and need your support more than ever.
