Thanks to calls from concerned motorists, a suspected impaired driver has been arrested in Gravenhurst.
Police say they received several calls early yesterday morning about a black truck travelling at a high speed on Highway 11 northbound near Sparrow Lake Route D, where it hit the median several times and kept going.
Officers stopped the smoking vehicle and the driver, a 31 year old man, was arrested for being impaired by drugs.
