The ROPE Squad has arrested a man wanted on Canada-Wide warrant.
It says Shane Luc Laderoute was located and arrested in Waterloo on Wednesday.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Police are seeking tips about a Provincial offender known to frequent the Barrie area who is wanted on a Canada wide warrant for breaching parole.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad says Shane Luc Laderoute is caucasian, 35 years old, 5’7″, and weighs 199 lbs.
He has short brown hair and hazel eyes.
He also has several tattoos on both forearms – a Ram on his right shin, a Zombie with Piston through the head on his left shin and “Live to Ride Ride to Live Y.J.L.” on his right shoulder to name a few.
He is currently serving a one year and two-month sentence for armed robbery, pointing a firearm, three counts of break, enter and commit, disguise with intent, trafficking in property obtained by crime under and two counts of theft under.
He’s known to frequent the Timmins, Matheson, Iroquois Falls, North Bay, Barrie, Kitchener and Cambridge areas.
